Planning for the Fourth Trimester in Pregnancy

Women spend so much time and energy preparing for birth, what comes after often gets forgotten and takes new Mums by surprise!

Birth is normally 1-2 days but the fourth trimester goes on for 40 days and is one of the biggest, most amazing adventures of your life!!

In this workshop, we will be focusing on the self-care that is essential for a smoother postnatal experience and will be sharing everything we wish we'd know when we had our babies!

Through the 4 hour retreat, we will provide...

FLOW AND RESTORE YOGA CLASS

  • 30 mins of movement

  • 30 mins of restoratives (including breathing and affirmations to support the postnatal period)

WOMEN'S CIRCLE

  • Tea and homemade nourishing snacks

  • What are the challenges of being a new Mother?

  • Considering what self-care actually is?

  • Exercise to identify what sustains and what depletes you as an individual

RELAXATION TECHNIQUES THAT SUPPORT THE FOURTH TRIMESTER

  • Using aromatherapy

  • Mindfulness/ mindset

  • Acupressure

  • Self-massage

  • Breathing

GUIDED JOURNALLING

  • Making your own postnatal plan

DEEPLY RELAXING YOGA NIDRA TO FINISH

You will walk away from this half-day retreat feeling refreshed, energised and relaxed. You will also have a written practical plan to support your fourth-trimester adventure!!

This workshop is being facilitated by Sarah Rush (pregnancy yoga teacher with 20 years of experience) and myself Anthonissa Moger (midwife and hypnobirthing teacher).
